Spring 2003
This is a series of panoramas from the corner of Lanewood and Lippitt showing how spring is coming to this side of Lochwood Park.

This is the 19th of March 2003, and already the redbud is starting to bloom, just behind the tree trunk on the far right of the picture. It will soon be a blaze of pink.

23 March and in only four days the tops of the trees are greener and the tree on the far right is filling out with leaves.

28 March. Wow, the leaves are so much more obvious in only five more days. The red buds are nearly at their peak, but do not show well at this distance.

12 April. Now even the pecan at the corner is starting to leaf out, and the red bud is mostly green now.

19 April. Now the crowns of the trees are nearly full, and the pecan at the corner is starting to look like the magnificant tree it is.

3 May. This is the final picture in the series, as most of the trees are now fully clothed for summer, and the forest has reached its full leaf cover for this year.
