That the neighborhood has such a wonderful park is a gift, but to see people out enjoying the park, and making use of the wonderful places and possibilities it offers, is truly encouraging.

On the first weekend of this new year of 2009 we counted twenty-two people all enjoying the west side of the park. The usual dog walkers, and parents with little ones at the playground, and five people using the tennis courts, and these two flying kites.

The park got a new sign this week! The cement was still soft, and already cracking.
