I used to have complicated maps with links to old satellite photos, and scans of maps, but with the advent of Google maps (the original site was actually done BEFORE Google maps!) you can just put Lochwood Park Dallas Texas into Google maps and get an instant sky view that is fairly up to date.
But in human terms, Lochwood Park is in a suburban district north-east of Dallas, near Garland, and an area that has been settled since the mid-1950s for the most part. It is a regular city park, other than having a stream, a waterfall, and several acres of forest. It has a small creek in a riverbed that is sometimes 20-30 feet deep, and the creek flows year round, which many local creeks do not do.
